As is often the case with any coach that is 'promoted up' (from high school to college, college to pros, or in this case, pulling a LeBron and skipping college and going straight from high school to the pros), it'll be interesting to see how he does when the guys he's coaching no longer have a huge talent advantage over the players that they'll be up against.   That said, I wish him well.

He already has plenty money so I don't know why he left.

Add the legendary Mrs Marcia Pinder in there as well DILLARD was a power house in both girls & boys basketball. #RipMsPinder

Not going to happen. STA, Gibbons, and AHP have some of the best stability enrollment-wise for both sports and academics. I have no reserves in Saying that someone will step up for Coach Surtain and continue the tradition of that great program. Congratulations to Coach Surtain on the promotion; I can’t think of many names in HS football more deserving of it then him!

Try mike coe 6 title games, over 200 wins . Sent 50 players D1. been in contact with every major power five coach.  Dude literally talked to Billy naper like it was nothing. I mean dude is the head coach at Florida.  I would be shooked.

Why would he be shook from talking to the head coach of UF. As a HC of a program that is perennial power and constantly has coaches coming recruit.  Speaking with head coaches from every type of school from major D1 all the way down to Juco and prep schools. So it becomes second nature. At the end of the they are just human.

I would be shooked thats what I said about me. They not human to me buddy.  I believe you transform with that type of fame. Like a evolution process in human development.
