The only universe I want to live in is one where I can visit a Florida High School Football message board, and not have to read a sales pitch for USA Today, Gannett Publishing, or the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

I'm not pushing anything. You've have made this a Daytona newspaper thing for some reason. September will be 6 yrs since my retirement. I believe the paper has changed ownership at least twice since then. Last I heard it was printed in Lakeland and trucked over in the morning. All my coworkers are gone. No work here outside sport writers and sales staff. If you falsely believe I have a hidden agenda (common man, what for, out of town strangers?) then pass on the thread, move on. I get the paper for the local news, local sports, and the obits. Stop with the hate...it's not healthy.

I didn’t want to call out one person by name. I’m not trying to resort to ad hominem or throw shade at anyone, and I actually appreciate you creating this post; I don’t usually read newspapers outside of the Herald Tribune. I just don’t want the thread to be locked.

You brought up the Daytona Beach News-Journal, so I responded. I know people who think like you like the word "hate" to describe people who think like me. It is not going to work though, and you are not going to silence me.

Hey, I understand. But my post was only to pass on what I had just discovered. Nothing more, nothing less....Informational, no sales commissions involved.......LOL,where and how my local compadre got that is sadly amusing and priceless

Silence you ?  Who cares ?  This is a message board. I passed on what I considered interesting. Take it, leave it, move on. No biggie... you made it personable, not me.

There is no need to bring up that worthless, waste of space, garbage, Daytona Beach "newspaper" on this Florida High School Football message board.

      First I want to express my apologies for my absence the last few months. Without going into much detail I have had some personal life struggles I have been dealing with on top of figuring out the direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com in. Things have finally settled out some over the last few weeks although I am not completely out of the woods just yet. Some of the decisions about what direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com have been forming over this time while I went through things. Part of me wondered if it was time to go, but really it is not at all. Thankfully, a loyal supporter near me in Gainesville decided to put their mouth where their money is and did a little investing and today FloridaHSFootball.com launched its first-ever Mobile App. With that said it comes with the sunset of the MVP Membership Subscriptions and thus FloridaHSFootball.com will be 100% free for the first time in a while. This comes as needing to get the clearances with Apple and Google and the current subscription platform we have is not syncing with Apple's system nor with the App itself. Its best we go in this direction to grow fans again and being able to put them facing forward with an app on their phone going forward. It seems every day these things find ways to pass through control systems.       They can definitely beat Central. My bulls is a toss up but I feel we should have the edge. EJ will be hard to stop though. Glad they not in 2A with us.
