Lmao!!! Nah this site vibes... Needs a lil more posters but it's a good amount that be posting up on here...

A notice we get a lot of rivals jumping ship over here so we by far the best Florida site and best board out there, we not like Dallas board where they have 500 posts about trump and boring politics or people who do nothing but ramble nonsense and pretend they know football, these people here are real football fans, we make them look like a circus

DJ a good guy I believe though and I like his content and being able to talk football on a national level, but I agree, some of it is just too much over there on those boards.

I would say we should try and recruit the people off of the dying rivals board, that would give us some more members and maybe a few off the national board but for most part with people who are homers we don't need here, that's when things get stressful lol

 

Honestly I question how much Dallas Jackson really knows about national teams, he sat there and critizes teams like Columbia when he never saw us play a down last year so I have a issue with that, if you watched us play in person its one thing but when you haven't tooken the time to actually watch us then criticize us I have a issue with that and really that board is a circus, there are a few good posters but for majority I see on there they know nothing about football besides their own state and the other states they Dont have any idea about and are shooting from the hip

Given his very limited resources, the best he can do is: 1. Look at results of most teams and try to correlate them through very limited data to national activity (this works better for a Central or an Aquinas since they play nationally strong teams on a regular basis). 2. Evaluate the opinions of some of his more trusted posters. 

 

Unlike the College game, there is not much inter-connectivity nationally in High School football. Objectively evaluating high schools at the national level is very hard and takes a lot of resources that are not there.

If you want your school to have National attention you generally have to have won a state championship and/or have 20+ college level players on your team.  Whether you want to agree with it or not - that is generally what gets national attention.  Take a look at all of the FL teams that cracked the top 100 last year.  They were either loaded with talent and/or former State Champions.  I can almost guarantee you that if Columbia beats STA in a FL 7A State Championship game, they will be considered for a top 100 team for the next few years based on the talent on the roster.  I find it odd that Dallas randomly brought up Columbia football on a National message-board.  How did Columbia come up and then get criticized?

Georgia Varsity Sports Vent!!! It breaks down not only a sport into different classifications. But also has a separate vent for a dozen or more sports. Politics is a separate vent entirely.
