Replaces Thomas Johnson who apparently is now with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the US Football League as defensive coordinator.

Will Billy be licking the envelopes and placing stamps on them for the recruiting materials they send out to recruit teenagers across the country? If so, perhaps he will deserve some of the credit he will get for winning games.

All of their head coaches seem to move on to "greener pastures" every year. Kevin Wright is a tight-end coach at Indiana State now (his home state,) and Bobby Acosta went from Syracuse, to IMG, to getting a job at Del Valle in Texas. Awesome football minds, no doubt!

It seems like IMG would be a destination job, not a stepping stone type of gig?  I would think they pay top $$$ too?

Seems that all of the prior head coaches, and possibly a few assistant coaches, have gone on to College and NFL level jobs. I guess they figure if you can handle a team that maintains top level play against the best in the country then you can handle more difficult tasks. Let's face it, if you are HC of a high school team and you're offered a college or NFL position then you take it. These colleges, and later NFL teams, recruit players from IMG. Why not the coaches that groomed them. And probably doesn't take more than a season to convince them.
