Armwood has only lost to Central in recent memory.....But ok

Plant beat them 2 years ago if I read it right and then again I said it in bold predictions but if they do lose to vanguard in 3rd round I will look like a genius for being first one to make that pick, but still maybe they do go back to states and it shows I should have bumped them to like 15 but we shall see

Good list.   I would get replace Delray Atlantic, Coral Gables, Raines and South Dade with Miramar, Flanagan, and Boca Raton and PB Gardens.

forgot about PB gardens, looking forward to seeing what they do this year. You still high on Miramar and Flanagan this year? I feel they have lost a little too much. Also I don't get the hype over Boca Raton, they didn't really beat anybody of note last year or do anything special, did they get a bunch of transfers or something I am unaware of?

I am not that high on Flanagan and Miramar, but I could definitely see Flanagan/Miramar  upsetting a team like Deerfield Beach before Delray Atlantic could. For me Flanagan is probably knocking at the top 25 door.  Delray Atlantic took a huge hit also.  But you are right..Flanagan only  returns TWO starters from last years team, and have a JV QB  coming up (I heard Samuells III was basically only going to be playing DB this year).  Supposedly they are pretty stacked at WR including a transfer from Mater and Carol City.  Miramar still has  athletic depth and are sick of being in the passengers seat in that District of late.  Regarding Boca Raton, they are just one of those teams that is very well coached and plays consistent football.  They remind me a little of Cypress Bay a few years back. (Not the year they went to states).  Just one of those teams that good teams underestimate and wind up in dogfights with them.   They played Delray Atlantic tough twice last year and their best wins were versus PB Gardens twice and Pahokee.  I think Boca Raton could definitely win that District over Delray Atlantic in 2016.

South Dade is way down and Coral Gables is down.

I definitely agree a Flanagan/Miramar upset could happen, but I don't see it happening. Miramar has has been pretty consistent as to what you can expect from them post Cogdell I feel like, a decent team with some talent but can;t bring it all together (the matt strout fiasco certainly didn't help things), didn't they lose a few guys to BTW this offseason too?

I see what your saying about Boca, I'll throw them in the teams to consider list?

You think SD and CG will be that down? They have some talent returning if I can recall. They lose transfers?

Matt Strout was the curse to that program.  They have not been the same since he arrived.  Yeah, they lost transfers to BTW, Miami Central and possibly Jackson and Carol City.  Zoe Boy can probably confirm that.

Here are a few of the Boca Raton Assistant Coaches (you may recognize a few):   http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/highschool/football/palm-beach/sfl-boca-raton-high-nfl-coaches-pictures-20140-001-photo.html

South Dade/Coral Gables were both very solid programs last year.  They both lost about 8 D1 players to graduation and each probably return a couple at most.  I did hear Coral Gables got a DB transfer from Columbus (Marlin Brooks) and a couple other good players but they won't be on the level they were last year.  If they are record-wise it is because 8A South is down or at least those Districts are.  South Dade will be average at best this year.  Zoe Boy should be able to confirm my thoughts on this when he reads it.

Agree with all you say in this... 8A south will be down a bit... But to me it comes down to DFB and The Ridge leaning towards DFB.... With the Ridge they have all the talent in the world but it comes down to dline and oline... I would say they have more talent then MC but MC would still dominate them in the trenches.... Then your gonna have a solid Columbus squad then Miramar and Flannigan which I have Flannigan reaching the second rd...

Matt Strout was basically a devil coaching.. He screwed that program up... But Miramar is having the problems of keeping their players to stay put.. Plus you have Carol City rising back up so that county line battle is leaning towards Carol City again

    • I was actually itching to treat some wager some money on some sports matches that are happening above-board now. I wanted to let you guys identify that I did spot what I ruminate on to be the kindest site in the USA. If you fall short of to get in on the spirit, check it out-moded: https://pokeronline.guru/online-gambling/
    • Perhaps the best RB in Tampa Bay iin 2023 saw his program close, and is looking for a home. If he stays in the area,Venice is a good bet. (Lakeland may be as well).
    • And if that same newsletter asked the Osceola County Sheriff Department, what do you think the response would be? If you asked, members of the Chamber of Commerce? (Essentially a union of businesses) If you asked a group of nurses? If you asked a group of lawyers? Also a union cares about the working conditions of their members, but the working conditions of teachers are the learning conditions of students as well. People are attracted to careers because of the values that come with those careers. Political Parties attract people based on their values. So it shouldn't be surprising that certain professions attract certain people in certain careers. You act as if the principal's first question when we have a 5,000+ teachers shortage in this state is "who do you vote for? And are you a member of the union?"
    • I feel like y'all are always solid so I don't see y'all going no worse than 7-3. Biggest question mark for Cocoa is their O-line since they are only returning 1 and on the defensive side they only return their blue chip edge in their front 7
    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
