Amazing turnarounds this year

Who are some of amazing turn around seasons out there?  I'll start with Pasco HS, who went 0-8 last year and are 6-0 this year.  That's crazy.

Titusville last year 0-10  this year 4-2

Out-of-Door Academy  last year 0-5  this year 6-0

Horizon  last year 2-8  today 6-0

Toho  last year 2-8   today 5-1 

Cocoa Beach last year 1-9  today 4-1   (0-9 the year before)

Poinciana last year 1-9  today 4-2 

May not be so amazing as a no win team, but a great turn of events for these programs so far

Bay Tornadoes: 2-8 last year. 5-0 this year.

Deltona 10-20 last 3 years. 5-1 this year.

Didn’t Bay lose to Enterprise week 0? If the game was played in Alabama it has to count. If it was in FL then it was a preseason game. Assuming it was in FL

Huge shoutout to Gulf High. This year they are 5-2 with 3 very winnable games coming up. Very winnable. 
 

Prior to 2022, Gulf High won 5 games……..IN THE LAST 7 YEARS COMBINED!!!!!!!!

So, how did Gulf turn things around?   Consistent coaching?  New coaches?  Transfers?  Kids finally staying instead of transferring?    Just curious if there's an obvious reason for the turnaround.

Nobody is transferring to Gulf. Lol.

Before the 2021 they hired The coach Sean Eperjesi from the middle school there in New Port Richey after leading them to an undefeated season and first conf champ in over 40 years.
 

He has built a strong bond in the community so I’m assuming he has a lot more involvement and participation than years past. Football probably means something now to the kids. There is a lot of pride in NPR and that starts with the coach! 
 

He was a 3 year starter at Robinson in Tampa and then was a 4 year starter at a D2 college. So he knows football.
