Booker T. lost to WHO ? ? ? (12-9)

This loss really hurts the state all around. STA has got to be kicking themselves right now. Really comical on this one.

In regards to the state being hurt all around, and assuming STA, BTW and Central go on to win states and win the games they are are capable of (possibly all - other than versus each other) what would likely be the best outcome for the State (relative to Nat. rankings) in the BTW/Central match ?

Well to be specific to that. You don't really see that in other power states as a real powerhouse program losing to a random opponent in the same area (much less an opponent that they should have taken care of in the first place since BTW had national title aspirations in the later part of the season. Central is on a roll, and should win, and if they win out, they should be in the running for that mythical national #1 rank, that itself would help the state. STA's lost to BTW now really hurts their chances unless they rack up 50 on that Gorman team which i don't see.

For someone being at the game 1st hand I must give Jackson there credit because those Generals meant business and came to play. I don't know what was going on with the offense for Booker T. Washington but it was horrible. I don't know if Daniel Richardson was hurt but he didn't play like one of the best quarterbacks in Miami and the coaching was suspect. Coach Harris I don't know what he was doing. Honestly I think they took Jackson for a joke which was a bad thing. I'll say this Ice better get his squad in line because you have 3 tough opponents coming up. Southridge, Central and Northwestern.

Huh ? That loss is nowhere in the realm of this one. Credit given to Jackson, but BTW shouldn't have lost this game. By the way 4A is very watered down. Not a very strong class so comparing it to 7A is kinda silly.

Wow, you really went there after 4A BTW beat 7A STA this year?

Last year 4A Cocoa beat 7A state runner up Viera and 4A is watered down?

Explain your logic.

I do agree that BTW should not have lost this one. However, if it was raining, I can see why? BTW is a passing team and rain makes that risky. Jackson must have a great defense, it's hard to stop BTW, MC will be watching that game tape.

7a is a better class then 4a but yeah just because they lost a tight game to Jackson don't mean the entire class is watered down, just that Jackson was better team tonight

With weak 8 game schedule to begin, now with BTW losing, and 3 straight weeks off at the end of the season, I seriously doubt MC has a chance at a MNC. Top 10 to end the season at best.

A shame....this could have potentially been the year.  I bet they are kicking themselves in the a$$ over there for not having someone that could adequately put together a possible fictitious national championship schedule. This potentially could have been another opportunity for Central to do it.

Do you think Central will address this scheduling issue considering what it may have potentially cost them?

    • I was actually itching to treat some wager some money on some sports matches that are happening above-board now. I wanted to let you guys identify that I did spot what I ruminate on to be the kindest site in the USA. If you fall short of to get in on the spirit, check it out-moded: https://pokeronline.guru/online-gambling/
    • Perhaps the best RB in Tampa Bay iin 2023 saw his program close, and is looking for a home. If he stays in the area,Venice is a good bet. (Lakeland may be as well).
    • And if that same newsletter asked the Osceola County Sheriff Department, what do you think the response would be? If you asked, members of the Chamber of Commerce? (Essentially a union of businesses) If you asked a group of nurses? If you asked a group of lawyers? Also a union cares about the working conditions of their members, but the working conditions of teachers are the learning conditions of students as well. People are attracted to careers because of the values that come with those careers. Political Parties attract people based on their values. So it shouldn't be surprising that certain professions attract certain people in certain careers. You act as if the principal's first question when we have a 5,000+ teachers shortage in this state is "who do you vote for? And are you a member of the union?"
    • I feel like y'all are always solid so I don't see y'all going no worse than 7-3. Biggest question mark for Cocoa is their O-line since they are only returning 1 and on the defensive side they only return their blue chip edge in their front 7
    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
