BREAKING: FHSAA announces state title game information

It just doesn't feel like a high school football game in a stadium of that size, IMO.

I don't think anyone likes it but this was literally the only option. (Yes, Daytona was an option but not realistic once Daytona started making unrealistic demands.)

Fingers crossed other locations throw their stadium in the hat when the series comes up for bid again.

It's just disappointing that teams play all year long under the lights on Friday nights in front of us passionate crowds all over the state...they make it all the way to the state title game and are rewarded with a game at 10AM...with a 90% empty stadium....there has to be a better solution.

That's not the FHSAA's fault -- that's the fault of the fans.

Texas does this with no problem. I'm pretty sure Georgia does this as well with no problem. Ohio might possibly do something like this with no problem, although not exactly sure on Ohio.

I'm not saying it is the FHSAA's fault per say. But after a while when there is a trend of fans not showing up you probably should adjust to deal with that. Regardless I don't know the perfect solution either however I'm just not a fan of state championship games taking place during the morning or day time for that matter.

Well, with the day time factor - there really wasn't much choice. Wasn't worth fighting the ACC/Camping World Stadium.

If other locations stepped up to the plate, we (perhaps) would have a better looking series.
