Trenton @ Pahokee

Can anyone offer some incite on this match up? We are not as big as Newberry but i feel like we are more athletic and play faster than Newberry did.

Trenton beat Newberry in a close one also earlier in the year right? Any special players strengths? I've watched Pahokee once really and they are very gold in the skill positions and are larger up front than they have been. Pretty balanced.

Trenton can run and throw and mix in some option equally well. I feel like the secondary at Trenton is a lot better than Newberry, Also our LB play has been very strong all year. We have played a spread team a couple of times this year and had some success against them but nobody with the type of players that Pahokee has. If we can keep close in the first half i think we have chance.

 

I would like to watch the Pahokee Newberry game did anyone broadcast it and maybe watch a replay?

Should be a good game. From what I have seen you have to be disciplined on defense to stop Trenton. I have only seen a few clips of Pahokee but they look fast. To say Trenton throws the ball well is a bit of a stretch but they are a solid team with a good defense.

I think WELL was pretty accurate description we are not great at it nor are we bad at it so i think WELL fits just fine. LOL

We agree on the " not great at it" part maybe they won't have to. I think I read somewhere that Newberry wouldn't run the veer on pahokee. Maybe they didn't I didn't see the game but TTown has a couple rings doing it to people. If they have to rely on the pass though it could be a long night.

Only game I was able to see of Pahokee was their game hosting NJ Wayne Hills (who hasn't lost other than to Pahokee).  I'll link it if you want to watch.

Hey Run@Shoot, I think I said that Newberry would have a hard time running the veer against Pahokee. They did it the first half, but Pahokee shut it down in the second half. It's gonna be tough beating Pahokee with just depending on the run. The problem is, if you try to pass it, that's even more dangerous. They have athletes all over the field, and they are very fast.

 

From what I've seen on video, It actually looks like Newberry was the better team than Trenton this year. I know Newberry lost the head to head but .....

Are the stands really that far from the field? I was watching a video of Pahokee from last year and looks they are a long way away from the field.  Do i need to bring binoculars to the game?

Ok cause I don't think you need binoculars in that stadium cause me , broward , Darter, Dan from Daytona and a couple of guys was sitting a lil up there last year and seen everything fine...

what i was saying was unless you in a stadium like the citrus bowl that has like 60k seats and rise high then you should be able to see the field
