Glades Central, Deerfield Beach and Atlantic have added some late gravy to their rosters.....I guess as long as these kids don't practice they can continue to transfer all month....Something tells me it's still not over....

That is why it is not wise to do pre-season rankings in late July.

Is the rule that they cant transfer after the first day of practice or after the first day of school, I have heard both.  It just seems like a player could go to practice and find a bunch of transfers may have taken any chance he has to play.  I would think they would give them a chance to assess their situation.

I believe it is the first day of attend practice.  Once you begin practice with the team you may not transfer*  - without consequences that is.

*Also,  If I am not mistaken a player may still practice with a team in August, transfer out anytime time before the first day of school and they would then be required to sit out the first 3 games, and then they could suit up for their new team.

Interesting...Quite a comeback....BOL to Cola.

Per a May 22, 2017 tweet @Hysteria

"High School Hysteria @Hysteria1063

Per @ParkVistaSports coach Brian Dodds, RB Corey Cola (@cola_corey) will miss his senior season due to a knee injury sustained in practice.

Cola, a 3 year starter for the #Cobras, underwent successful surgery. Coach Dodds expects a full recovery.

The word on Cola is he is recovering from a torn ACL from late May.

Great read here from Adam Lichtenstein of the Palm Beach Post on details of Cola's injury, therapy and recovery:

That is 2 now over the last few days from Cardinal Newman.  Newman had looked pretty poised to be a solid 3A program...but losing 2 starters with a limited roster likes sets them back a bit.

Both players who transferred out of CN will likely start at Glades Central and Palm Beach Gardens .

2019 CB/RB Clarence Burley has transferred from Stoneman Douglas to American Heritage Plantation.  Burley is a burner who ran a 10.87 100m as a Soph and was expected to fill the shoes of 2018 RB Riley Allison who transferred from Douglas to STA this spring.  Tough one for Douglas/ losing possibly there best upcoming athlete.  The Eagles were looking to patch up that RB position and need help in the secondary....

Burley had some nice highlights versus Santaluces this spring:

I wanna See us get some more transfers in maybe another qb some deep threat Wrs etc

Come on man..You don't have faith in Mo at QB?  He is a Senior , very experienced, solid arm,  athletic......  I think you are fine there...

WRS???   You have 3 , three star big time 6' 3+ WRs on your roster I thought.  You have one of the best WR cores in SFL and great deep threats.

Dillard's 3 main WRs that I am aware of :

6' 3"Stanley Garner transfer from Coco Creek (4 star) https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2018/stanley-garner-40568

6' 3"Bryce Oliver  (3 Star) - http://www.scout.com/player/bryce-oliver-91258

6' 2" Timothy Scippio  transfer from Coco Creek (Akron Commit) - http://www.hudl.com/profile/7587221/5-timothy-scippio

If that OL is intact and they are also stacked at RB with two wrecking balls:

Keyondre White transfer from Chaminade. (3 Star) watch his hudl - he is like a sherman tank:  http://www.scout.com/player/keyondre-white-87106

Jordan Sands transfer from Coco Creek/Piper :  http://www.hudl.com/profile/6747605/jordan-sands

You of course have SR and experienced QB in Moe Francois - http://www.hudl.com/profile/7057549/francois-moe

Should be a much improved Offense Mighty.  On paper, perhaps the best we have seen in a while at Dillard.

I am not so sure that I'm in favor of the Transfer at Will approach to high school football in Florida. Consider that you have a roster of players that go through Spring and Summer practices together, learning the plays and developing the skills that are necessary to actually produce a viable football team come the first game of the season. The work entails players bonding with their teammates  and coaches working hard to perfect  the positions that they are assigned. Then one or more players up and transfer before the start of the season leaving the team scrambling to not only replace them but to maintain cohesion among the players that depended on those players. I'm sure that with some teams losing one or two of their better players would be the difference between a winning and losing season. I have recently seen where some teams have quite a few players transfer and can't imagine the affect it has on each of those teams. No wonder so many coaches are now choosing to quit. When you have no control over what your roster is going to look like, from one day to another, if you care, you eventually loose interest in building a successful program that is made very difficult under the current conditions that you cannot control.

I know I know I guess I'm just nervous as [4645654654] and anxious for this season I just want Dillard to be respected and not the laughing stock of this board for once.

Yall should be straight THREE star receivers an RB thats also a star yall should play STA and BTW tough

More to high school success then stars

Stars are mostly on size and college potential

I've seen 4 or 5 stars laid out by players without a single star to their name
