True but Floyd did what he was supposed to do but Manny "broke" his hand sore loser and second i disagree about Floyd being boring the last few year, i go back and watch his fights with Miguel Cotto Canelo and Maidana and it was clinics he was puttin on..... Man u sound like Larry Merchant ova there

Come on MightyD,  you'll give us MC, but question MNW and CC ? Outside BTW and the two Broward privates (STA,AHP)  CC & MNW smacks practically everything down there the last couple years.  IMG hasn't been Top 3 Broward/Dade in their whole entire existence. MC did play the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen.   You know the team they beat 50-21.   Basically the worst loss and most points ever scored on DBP lol.

They were nasty.  I'd put them a bit above AHP and maybe a tad bit below STA.   Had a terrible game vs IMG.   It was the first game of the year with a brand new coach.   Still it was close 10-7 going into the 4th.

The fights I've saw were boring,  but then again i didn't waste 60 bucks to watch boxing 

 

I stick to the free boxing on foxsports which i might add have excellent fights and are worth watching

I think he was referring to Dematha but Dematha was a top 10 national team that year so no shame in losing to them

I think mighty is just looking too much into the star ratings of the img players 

 

@MIGHTY_DILLARD_PANTHERS just because they have big name players don't mean they cant lose

There are lots of talented players that get overlooked and are far more hungry then these 5 stars at img and last time i checked those stars dont mean everything 

 

Some players at That level become complacent and lazy and get exposed by players determined to make their mark and get the attention of scouts. Just saying

You have to understand that Floyd's style is not brawling and out of control its defense punch cover up and mover around which is hard to hit Floyd even if he standin in front of you

Because he not gonna knock anyone out,  he doesn't hit aggressively enough and he dodges every good hit his opponent throws so i can't get interested in his fighting

Manny did not break his hand. Prior to the fight Manny had a serious rotor cuff injury which made his right arm pretty useless. Floyd's team would not allow Manny to be given a shot for pain. So much for the fair play by Floyd. Manny agreed to go ahead with the fight because a cancellation would have been a disaster for the promoters, venue, and fans. Even with the injury I think it was a pretty close fight and so do quite a few of the boxing experts. If Manny had been 100% there is no way Floyd would have won that fight.

Yeah, but It was a bit of a let down for me anyways.   Hadn't seen MC get beat like that in a long while.   They better be able to throw that ball vs IMG.   Wildcat/power run probably isn't gonna cut it.

If starters play whole game and they lose to Carol City then they not the best in Florida 

 

If the games dont count then why the freak we have kickoff classic previews

 

Those games mean something to some teams,  while some play jv there are teams who treat it like a real game and if starters on both sides play entire game then I'm not gonna overlook the game because it a "kickoff" if USA today and maxpreps take kickoff games into account for their rankings then they should count for something when viewing a team

 

 

 

Also i would rank Venice as the 4th best Florida team IMG plays after the 3 Dade teams and i doubt Venice a threat to img, dont have the speed unless they magically got it since losing to sta

Now to get us back on topic I'm gonna go with a surprise upset and pick ponte vedra over Trinity Christian to win their District 

 

Ponte vedra is basically being ignored in that district because of Bolles and Trinity Christian joining it but i think ponte vedra will surprise people by holding their own and defending their District Championship

Huh? Did we watch the same fight here? Don't give me that torn rotator cuff story... That man was ok.. He was juicing.. As soon as he stop he gets knock out to next week when he battled with Juan Manuel and I seen PAC Man get hit harder then that but seem to never get knocked out... that fight could of been 10 years ago and Maywheather would of come out with the W... Pacman is a brawler and that's open season for maywheather

I get what your saying buyback IMG did take that game serious.. I mean I paid to watch online and streamed it for everybody on the old Dallas Jackson website and you can ask anybody if IMG didn't want to win that game... Shoot the coach after the game was complaining how physical AHP was playing and they starters played the whole game and tried to win it and they probably did with a questionable penalty in the end... Now where IMG beats ppl at is the line of scrimmage.. MC online looked suspect doing spring so will see if that changes over the summer... Northwestern has the size and speed so I expect that to be a close competitive game and Carol City should give them a competitive game to but just had a coaching change so we will see.. But one thing those 3 teams have equal with IMG is speed a athleticism..  And I'm am one that don't go with that star rating crap... Like I said IMG could of lost 3 games last year but they held their own..
