We are going to have a good idea if they are right or wrong pretty quickly. I think SJB having to come to FL is a big advantage for STA. The SJB QB is not known for his passing ability. He's more in the mold of the best athlete on the field so he's the QB. I don't think he will be able to throw much on the STA secondary but will they be able to stop him from running. If they do they should win.

I would say from my recent memory it probably easier to pass then run on sta but that not easy either

I see sta by 6

What i did to break ties was which ever class had the highest ranked team was given edge

For example 4a and 3a were tied

3a number 1 Chaminade Madonna was higher than 4a number 1 cocoa so 3a was given the bump over 4a in the rankings

I'll be doing the same thing throughout the season so these rankings are likely to change from week to week

You do realize that Cocoa beat TCA last and TCA beat Chaminade.

Cocoa is supposed to have a better team this 2017 season also.

What made you rank Chaminade over Cocoa?

Trinity Christian will likely be down slightly from last year and out of 3a

Chaminade  should be a overwhelming 3a favorites

As for ranking Chaminade over cocoa it was a very tough decision but looking at the talent Chaminade has this team is not only one of the best Florida teams but may even finish top 50 in nation should they pull off some tough games i feel that they have the talent to win

You did all the work, and I respect your opinion. Would love to see Chaminade play Cocoa.

Me too,  that would be my picks as 3a and 4a champs so it would in my opinion be a top 10 Florida match-up of 2017

For sure.  Moore is a nice player, but to me Bruce was more dynamic in the sense he is more versatile coming out of the backfield , playing special teams. Just electric anytime he touched the ball...perhaps a step quicker laterally than Moore.

Moore to me is close and I see him as more of a WR running routes versus Bruce running routes but more successful with screens, end-arounds etc..

Can you imagine the WR core Western would have had right now if they still had their WRs who originally came in there?

Kevin Austin (NBP)  and Elijah Moore(STA)  are arguably the top two WRs in Broward right now.

But the overall depth at RB and WR over the last few years at STA was just more talented, would you agree?

I am not saying these new faces at STA can't become elite players but heading in to the 2017 season I am just not seeing it yet.

I think you underestimate moore's lateral quickness, but I see where you're coming from.  Bruce was a freak.  So far Moore is dominant in camps, BUT due to depth chart issues he doesn't have that much production yet.

I agree though, a large class of super talented Wrs just graduated, but i'd be willing to bet there are some hungry kids and some underclassmen that have a solid year.

Like last year , no one knew much about Josh Palmer or Merrel and they were both solid.  Just the opportunities were slim.

Im guessing we see some underclassmen also shine this year.   Two good athletes in the 2020 class.

They have a ton of talent. Even though they graduated their QB and a really good WR, I still see them getting better.  They beat Niceville last year and they return more production then Niceville. They'll add a few from last years stellar Freshman team.  They're O-line are giants.  The three Voison brothers are good. Last year they had a freshman running back rush for over 400 yards. That total will go way up.  They just have more quality returning then Niceville.  Niceville has a LB transfer from Hoover but that isn't enough as they lost 11 of their top 15 tacklers from last years team.  My only hesitation with Crestview is the head coach.
