That remains to be seen but lake Gibson should be solid this year

Lake Gibson got better as the year progressed last season. In the spring game they were good but not state caliber and Apopka easily beat them in two quarters. By the time the season was over, they were good enough to keep the game with Carol City close. I suspect when they played Dillard they had not peaked yet. This is not subtracting from the fact that last year's Dillard team had good talent (it did). But I do think Lake Gibson was playing at a higher level late in the season.

Saw the Lake Gibson QB who transferred to Lakeland play this Spring. I'm guessing he helped last years team. I never saw Lake Gibson play so I'm unsure of his impact. What I did see was a big kid that can make some plays.

Wow ColumbiaFan, #1-8 all south Florida. Before the 2016 playoffs I wouldn't have questioned the top heavy south in your excellent Top 25. Time will time if the north is really back..... nice work 'Bo-man

The gap is closing but remember this is only a preseason poll, this isn't guaranteed to be how every team finishes just how i see them at this stage lol

I have them as highest 8a north team and number 3 in central Florida behind only cocoa and lake Gibson

Which looks better

Osceola should be in the top 10 this year (Homer statement) looking really strong on offense, where they won't just be in Wing T the whole game. As for the defense they still have some learning and work to do but looked good in FCA camp this past week, expecting that D to hit there stride early on in the season.
