I hope this is not true. If it is, it will likely be the final chapter in a season where several high caliber programs have been busted. Things should not have to be this way.

If the Bulls are disqualified, then that likely leaves Raines with a clear path to the title. It would also open the door for a few dark horses.

If it comes out to be true this will be insane. Of course it doesn’t happen to heritage & norland so we can get a breather lmao lol.

but aye if we’re gonna win I rather go through the big dogs to reach our goal. It wouldn’t feel right no other way.

They got the student records before and after.  time stamps are receipts, I expect this one will be open and shut, this will be huge

Most def will be looking out for the official story.

it seems to be nationally elite competing for a state title in a heavily talented area like south Florida. You have to illegally recruit & load your team with highly touted transfers.

or you have to bend the rules secretly to benefit your team & hope your squad don’t get caught.

Northwestern has been reported to the FHSAA for a 5th year player. Player started in 2020 left and then went between NW and Central. FHSAA has all the details proof of NW trying to cover tracks.

Here we go...

So shocked ….this has been going on for years. Let’s see what kind of pull Bridgewater has. But if the FHSAA busted Central, then they have the brass to bust NW. Its ironic the year states championships are hosted in Miami, there may not be any Miami teams left

Doesn't make sense at all and I wonder how it works if a kids has to repeat a grade. Wouldn't this be an exception and explains why you're still playing.

Not sure what the rules say; however, if he's overage, than it's not allowed. That I know for sure. If he repeated, there's a very good chance he would be over the age limit.

Plus, I suspect that you only have 4 years of eligibility unless you played varsity while in middle school. That would make sense, as otherwise, many schools and kids would be incentivized to repeat a grade to get in an additional year of varsity.

So how exactly does one stay in HS for 5 years?  Last I checked they boot you after 4 years.  Do these teams have dudes off the street playing for them or something?

In Orange County you can repeat a grade for academic failure. I know kids that have. But none of them played a fifth year of football. Most kids would age out after one repeat. For those, there are some other OCPS institutions that may be used to obtain a diploma.

I’m shocked, surprised, stunned, dazed, upset, flabbergasted, astonished, amazed, flummoxed, baffled, confounded, bemused and bewildered by such revelations.  It’s absolutely unimaginable.  B)

It’s almost as if someone down in South Florida has said “Forget our long-standing traditions of ‘honor among thieves’ and 'snitches get stiches,' If I’m going down, everyone is going down!”  (Cue the maniacal laughter).

In all seriousness, this is just another step closer to the destruction of the FHSAA. Sure, it will always exist, not every school will break apart. However, the FHSAA right or wrong, has hit the big boys of the state. If Central, NW, AFA, etc accept their fate and correct moving forward, then all is well. If they do not, and decide to take a different route, the FHSAA will lose two of their biggest national brands. How many other schools will follow? I just don’t see Central and NW going down without a fight. Once lawsuits hit, it could get messy.

I’ve joked thruout the season that all laws & rules apply to the entire state, not us from South Florida. I said that because us down in So Flo KNOW rules are stretched & broken. When the FHSAA took 2 games away from Western & 1 from Norland because of Rules Violations, shots were fired. When they took the entire season away from Central because of the use of an ineligible player for the entire season, a LOUD & clear statement was made by the FHSAA down here in So Flo.
Cheating & breaking rules aren’t going to be tolerated. The OUTCRY from the team’s & neighborhoods SHOULD, but WON’T BE, we broke the rules & their are consequences. Being ethical & upright will be buried with typical & all too familiar shouts of injustice etc….

It’s a SHAME we just can’t do the right thing & run our football programs according to the by laws & rules…..

The bizarre thing is transfers are basically open season, but having a player who is ineligible due to age is wild. We shall see what happens next…..

Well they’re 2 completely different topics. The age rule has been around forever & I agree with it. The transfer disaster is new & SHOULD BE ADDRESSED ABOVE ALL OTHER ISSUES……
