Huge win and confidence boost, however I think this will be the end of the line for Vero at DP. At the start of the season I said I thought they’d be good, but not world beaters and I think they had a very good season. The next couple years however I really do think Vero could make a couple of runs with some of the key positions this year having freshman starters including our starting QB. Give them some time and I think they could be dangerous.

 

Hopefully I’m wrong, but right now I could see DP winning by 14+.

Niceville over Ponte Vedre 21-20 in OT.  PV down 7 in OT, scored, went for 2 and were unsuccessful.  What a nail-biter!

What about Oakleaf defeating the #1 overall seed in the FHSAA rankings regardless of class, Nease by the score of 31-14!!   Quite a statement as Oakleaf was ranked by the same system as #60......how can that be.  Talk about an upset.

Given it's at Dp., I would make them the favorite. But they are beatable, though pretty good. I give VB a 40% chance of winning the game. Regardless, I think the final margin will be 10 or less

I said before the season started that Vero Beach was the darkest horse in 7A. Vindication feels good. If playing @ Dr. Phillips is the end of the road for them, then this was a great year, and they have a ton of good to build on. But they will be a tough out.

Thought Bradford overlooked Newberry in the first game….Panthers have their number! Eau Gallie barely gets by Titusville in the regular season & gives em the beat down. Nice win by Vero but PBC was on borrowed time. They just weren’t as good as they’ve been. 
Williston not as good as the last couple years but here they are in the regional final. 
Armwood showed a lot of heart rallying when Plant scored the go ahead TD With 2 minutes to go in the game. They returned the kickoff to Plant’s 44 yd line & scored a minute later! 
The hated postseason rivalry continued with Vanguard & Lake Wales. Congrats Knights. 
Ponte Vedra comes up a point short in OT vs Niceville. They must be a well coached team. Niceville at home is tough. 
Congrats to Oakleaf! Not only won but most of the game dominated.
