Although tier 1 looks about spot on.....I think you are over thinking the other tiers too much. Tiers are fine but when you start associating them to points you will drive yourself nuts.    For example tier 2 Armwood just beat tier 3 Plant by what 4 or 5 TDs?  Tier 2 Carol City just beat Tier 4 Southridge by like 6 TDs?

Now would it shock if next week Tier 4 Southrige beats @ Tier 3 South Dade by 2 TDs?

Well as i stated they not always going to follow the same pattern in every game

The point separation is how i personally would set the line at for a game Not how it will always turn out

Poorly coached talented teams are the most frustrating to get a feel for.  They can sometimes be a thorn in one's side when trying to predict their games one way or another.

and you complain about Pinkos.  It is impossible to get every thing correct on rankings.  The thing is to try and be as accurate as possible.  I trust Pinkos rankings way more than the point system we have.

I agree that's one of reasons i never trust computer polls is bc those polls don't take injuries or coaching into play which damages accuracy

Injuries are a major factor in computer polls.  Also some teams run up the score which inflates their computer ranking and others don't and that hurts them.

Does Pinkos have all the teams listed some where or just the top 25 and top 10/5 in each class?  It would be interesting to see what teams he would have in the playoffs compared to the teams that get in.

I've only seen the 25 and 10/5 but I'm sure it's out there somewhere

In 7A I don't think there is a North Fort Myers??

I hope that is not supposed to read South Fort Myers who according to Max preps is currently 4-3. They come out of district 12 which is a 3 team district. Typically the past few years get throttled 1st round. Unless the beat out Gulf Coast for district Championship I don't see getting in the playoffs.

North Ft Myers is 6A.  You would think after 9 weeks of doing it this year and at least 2 years of doing it you would at least have the teams in the right class

last week you had Wekiva 8A 20.  I don't think there are 20 teams in 8A better than Wekiva.  How are they not over DP?  We will find out this week vs Apopka.  They have one loss in a game they blew vs a pretty good Winter Park team on the road and fumbled at the end to allow Winter Park to steal the game in the last few seconds.

    • I was actually itching to treat some wager some money on some sports matches that are happening above-board now. I wanted to let you guys identify that I did spot what I ruminate on to be the kindest site in the USA. If you fall short of to get in on the spirit, check it out-moded: https://pokeronline.guru/online-gambling/
    • Perhaps the best RB in Tampa Bay iin 2023 saw his program close, and is looking for a home. If he stays in the area,Venice is a good bet. (Lakeland may be as well).
    • And if that same newsletter asked the Osceola County Sheriff Department, what do you think the response would be? If you asked, members of the Chamber of Commerce? (Essentially a union of businesses) If you asked a group of nurses? If you asked a group of lawyers? Also a union cares about the working conditions of their members, but the working conditions of teachers are the learning conditions of students as well. People are attracted to careers because of the values that come with those careers. Political Parties attract people based on their values. So it shouldn't be surprising that certain professions attract certain people in certain careers. You act as if the principal's first question when we have a 5,000+ teachers shortage in this state is "who do you vote for? And are you a member of the union?"
    • I feel like y'all are always solid so I don't see y'all going no worse than 7-3. Biggest question mark for Cocoa is their O-line since they are only returning 1 and on the defensive side they only return their blue chip edge in their front 7
    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
