Question for the board.

If a family lived in a RV as their only form of housing, what school boundary would they be part of? Would it be wherever they first set up shop at? RV parks don’t require long term leases. Hell they have daily rates. So if someone moved from out of state, what address do they put on their new license, and what the hell school do their kids go to? Lol.

I don't know the answer but would suspect that the same rules would apply as to the homeless. But in Florida today, does it really matter? They would probably get assigned to a school that was not at capacity.

According to someone who knows more about the system than I do, the school they would attend would depend on how they were classified. If the RV site address was used, they would normally attend the school/(s) within the RV camp boundary. However, if classified as homeless, under OCPS rules they could attend the school of their choice within Orange County. 

Note that Orange County rules may vary from the rules of other school boards within the state of Florida.

From what I can tell, Polk County goes with the location of the dwelling.

Having been very close to being homeless once I do not take this subject lightly.  That being said one can imagine a couple of business opportunities.  RV sales companies should market to the parents of young athletes.  The other would be to open RV resorts near high schools.
