McArthur, West Broward & The Fall Of Western

we’re only 11 days into 2025 & Just Wow Smh. 
 

West broward - in the last 5 days the bobcats have received 15 transfers and counting. 

Western- Since their football Season Came a halt vs Columbus, the wildcats has lost over 25 players while most of if not their entire coaching staff left for McArthur high school. 
 

McArthur- funny how a coaching change can immediately change things. Year after year they’re are constant door mats in regards to broward county football.

But in the last 7 days, the mustangs have received so far 29 new transfers & we’re ONLY in January. 
 

with the majority of those players coming from western, 2 from Dillard, and a few other schools. 
 

What’s crazy is it’s like it’s monkey see monkey do most of these players jumping ship from all these schools to follow the new wave & the new “IT” school.

A few years ago it was Deerfield, then it was Dillard, then it was Western, now it’s McArthur.

i think the funniest stat about that is that coach chop was at Deerfield, they got a bunch of transfers, then he came to Dillard (Dillard got a bunch of transfers), western same thing, now McArthur. 
 

coach rob is a great coach, much respect for my dawg, met em a few times, in regards to the overall state of high school football in 2025 it’s insane.

That’s what happened at DFB. The coach brought it in all the talent and the competed year in and year out. The second he leaves they become a homecoming opponent that everyone laughs at

Remember this same thing happened with Flanagan as well and once the coach left they went back to their usual self a layup team.

I suppose these are all academic transfers, huh?  I mean I'm sure these kids are concerned about getting the best possible college preparatory education.

You know better than that!  Besides, if they aren't moving for "academic" reasons, who's to say some would bend the truth just to save face?
