This is the post:

"Grant Thompson has resigned as Niceville's head football coach. No scandal. No drama. After going 64-10 the last six seasons with two Final 4 appearances, it was simply the right move for him at this time."

What is Thompson doing?   What makes this "the right move for him at this time?"

Local paper says that Thompson does not plan to coach anywhere this year.  Intel seems to confirm that he is leaving for "personal reasons".  In any event, this opening should attract a lot of interest as it is probably the most desirable position in the panhandle.

Offense was Niceville's strength, and they lose most everybody from last year's offense. That may have helped nudge him along.
