Horrible. Same with Avon OH. They finished number 1 in Ohio and they are playing Spruce Creek who isn’t even top 50 in Florida 

Baylor is 2nd in TN and they are playing a team not ranked in the state top 150!

Wish Dillard could’ve got in the broward vs USA slot this year. It’s been 2 years since we’ve been in it. 
 

the atmosphere that Saturday night, the exposure , the way the whole stadium was decorated for that game was like no other. 
 

and to top it off we won 35-0 in front of a standing room only crowd one of the top 5 DMV schools at the time. One of the best nights I’ll never forget.

There might be a fear that Dillard's players might beat up a teacher on campus. And this would be a reasonable fear.

Dillard should have taken the place of Piper against Peachtree Ridge in my opinion.

That would’ve been a solid matchup to. And great exposure for Dillard who’s returning a great squad this year. Waiting for our schedule to drop, but I can see another 2 lost or less record this year with a 2nd round or further appearance.

Off topic but I want to see Dillard and Northwestern play don't you agree. We all know who would win though but the bands, cheerleaders alumni, fan base, community support along with both being historically black would be an electrifying atmosphere.

I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion that the west would win. I can be a realist and say they most def would be the favorites. Especially with the overload of transfers they got so far this off season. 
 

but most def would be a sold out event. I made a post about this a few weeks ago on the portal on Facebook that I wanna see a Dillard vs MNW football matchup, and the post blew up lol.

Where would they play though. Miami and obviously it would be Traz Powell but Dillard stadium not big enough. Northwestern travel and travels well.

I think it’s more than big enough, especially for Dillard. Not sure when the last time you been to Dillard but they added two more stands on the away side, and when it’s a huge game they add two more in the end zones.

nothing like true “Homefield advantage” i know a lot of dade teams don’t have their own field where they play their home games so traz Powell is “HOME” for the likes of the west, central, norland and etc, but it’s something bout playing at yo school, on yo turf & you’re hosting a big game especially as a “HBCU” aka black high school. Give me MNW at Dillard all day. & man oh man sunrise would be shut down lol.

This would be lit as hell actually. Put btw vs ely on a Friday night at ELY, The west @ Dillard Saturday night, talk about two sold out events. I would attend both.

Not sure why they don’t do it. The gate would be out of this world. Tons of money to be made. All the fans bases would come out in droves. The tailgating, bands, reunions etc. make a whole weekend of it.

I get what you sayin. BTW vs Ely won’t be an Espn game if the week. But what I will say, whenever you have a 954 vs 305 matchup especially between two black schools it’s always gonna be a money game. County Bragging rights on the line.
