I don't care for spring games. Yes I'm ready for football to start back but we're not getting anything out of a spring game.

I believe spring is once a sigh of relief that football is fully back in effect, minus the two months between b4 the actual season. 
 

also most teams play their starters a full half if not more depending on the matchup & if it’s a rival team or a team vs another county & both teams wanna go into the summer on a high note/bragging rights.

lastly you get to see your new weapons/transfers if you got any, and a great look at the team overall on whose truly ready to be a starter, whose weak at what, and who can potentially be riding the bench if they don’t shape up. All in all, no the game don’t count but I’m ready for it bro lol.

I agree with you FBGUY1989.  I used to care less.  DILLARDBOY is right also.  Last year Bishop Verot hosted a jamboree with Columbus and Sarasota Riverview.  Of course each played a half against each other.  Best Spring Game experience a I’ve ever had.  That is the way to do spring games. A few years ago Venice hosted a jamboree with 3 other teams, Lakeland, Manatee and Charlotte.  That was a little too long. Manatee and Charlotte were a little down.  Charlotte is still down and of course Manatee has recovered.

I’ve been to a few spring games and some of them play like real games! You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. 
 

My best memory of spring games actually involves Cocoa both times. One at Dr Phillips when Cocoa beat the breaks off them 35-7. Something like that. And when Miami Northwestern came up and played Cocoa. The game stopped because of the shuttle launch at the exact same time! The whole stadium just paused to watch. It was cool. This was over a decade ago

You feel me. And on top of that, the bands be there and cheerleaders it legit feel like a real game only difference is the game be In May lol. 
 

if you was a person that couldn’t tell time or didn’t know your days and weeks, you wouldn’t know the difference lol.

For real! I used to look forward to going to spring games. I drove from Tampa to Orlando and Cocoa for those games. Or I would watch Tampa area ones in other years 
 

I live in Tennessee now and my son plays so I’m obviously going to his. The team they play is ranked higher than they were at the end of this past year so there will be some intensity to perform well. 
 

right now is track season so they need to finish that before they get to football practice

Where at in Tennessee? We retired and moved to Fort Pierce 7 years ago from East TN.

We went to a jamboree last year at Palm Beach Gardens with Westwood, PBG, Norland, Atlantic and Coconut Creek. Outside of the 93 degree weather at 4:00 PM, we had a great time and saw some good football.

I remember this game and it definitely felt like a regular season game. I believe that was the sophomore or junior spring for 3 of Cocoa's 4 superbowl champions

I remember when I was playing for Rockledge the spring games i participated in was against Mainland 2 seasons and Cocoa 1 season
