His senior year he led his team in rushing and receiving.  He was "only" rated as a 3-star wr in hs.  After a redshirt year at FSU, he had a breakout year as a db and was named a consensus freshman All-American. He was also named the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year. In his senior year at FSU, Rhodes was targeted 47 times and allowed just 13 completions for 88 yards. He finished his career at FSU with 140 total tackles, seven for a loss, eight interceptions and 23 pass breakups. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 25th overall pick in 2013 NFL Draft.  He is now one of the best cb's in the NFL and a 3-time Pro Bowler.
    • It is up to each individual county.   Osceola county will start June 15th.  I know of some starting June 8th.   https://www.positivelyosceola.com/osceola-county-athletes-can-return-to-campus-for-voluntary-workouts-june-15-more-details-coming-next-week/
    • Does anyone actually know what is going on with Florida HS football right now? According to the FHSAA non contact practices begin July 27 with contact practices beginning August 1. I don't see anything on the FHSAA website about summer activity with the exception that the CDC and State Government are the determining factors. Anyone on this forum have an idea if and when summer activity will be resumed and if resumed whether that activity will be hampered by all of the stringent policies brought forth by this virus?
    • In early October of 2002, sophomore Fred Rouse helped Lincoln to a 28-18 win over Columbia with a 98-yard TD reception and over 100 punt return yards.  Later that season, in the third round of the playoffs, he caught two TD passes of 50+ yards in Lincoln's 35-26 home win over Columbia.  Lincoln QB Joe Bauserman, went on to play minor league baseball and ultimately qb at Ohio St, lit up the Columbia secondary for over 300 yards that night.  Lincoln and Mr Rouse knocked Columbia out of the playoffs once again in  Tallahassee in 2004, this time in the first round.    Interestingly, a certain Lincoln WR named Antonio Cromartie helped knock Columbia out of the playoffs in Tallahassee in the third round of the 2001 playoffs. It is rumored that in 2005, Columbia was so desperate to avoid a potential playoff trip to Tallahassee that they lost their last three games of the season to ensure they would not make the playoffs.  Anything but Lincoln.
