Atlantic upsets norland 43-21 Vikings fall to 2-3 , eagles move to (5-0)

in what was a tight game first half, eagles turned it up 2nd half and stung the Vikings who falls to 2-3 and drop their 2nd game in a row by double digits

Norland isn't good this year and after they lost to Lake Mary 1st game of the season which they led majority of the game I knew then.

I just got home from this game.  It was close until the 4th quarter before Atlantic took control.  Norland played pretty steady through 3 quarters before the collapse leading 20-19.  Special teams errors hurt both teams in the first half.  Atlantic’s offense was sloppy in the first half and seemed out of sync.

 Norland just doesn’t have any real game changers on offense.  Their defense is above average but this Viking team seems to be missing the firepower to beat good teams.  This was a game where Atlantic was vulnerable but Norland just didn’t have enough to close the deal.  To beat Atlantic you need to put up some points.  The Eagles have plenty of weapons but you must contain their QB from breaking the pocket and take off running.  He can scoot.

I agree. You see Norland lost to Northwestern 49-21 but beat Carol City 42-13 and South Dade 49-3.

We thought about going to this one, but couldn't get away in time to beat the rush hour traffic, so we settled on St Lucie West v Palm Bay Bayside, which was a 61-14 rout. Bayside is really bad, but I'd guess the SLW QB threw for well over 300 yards and IIRC, 5 TD. I think tomorrow we're going to hit either THE Benjamin School at Jensen Beach or Dr. J Garcia at Martin County. On Saturday, we're planning to hit up Miramar at Dillard.

If you're looking for a game I would recommend Central vs Northwestern. Your going to get everything you want in a game and more. They play October 4th on a  Saturday night at 7:30.

Sounds good JD.  I’m going to Central @ AHP tomorrow.  Cardinal Gibbons @ Coconut Creek Saturday night.  When I briefly had a gospel music label Chicago was known as a place you could live a Gospel Music lifestyle because you could go to hear a performance practically every night.  In South Florida you can live a High School Football lifestyle.

I have that on my schedule.  Plan on buying my ticket as soon as they go on sale and be in line well before they open the gates.  I’ll sit on the Rockets side because I became a fan of their’s after the 2010 state final against Haha Clinton-Dix and his Dr. Phillips Panthers.  I like MNW as well but my heart is with Central.

Dam bro you to good to come to exit 29 sunrise blvd for a game. Been up and down 95, and cross country to Ireland and China and still won’t pay them panthers a visit …sheesh make me think you don’t wanna see the nicest public school football field and the best band I. Florida atleast 1 time. lol. 
 

just joking with you bro: that’s a great game to attend, if it wasn’t on the same day as the BIGGEST GAME in Florida the SOUL BOWL with Dillard and ely I would have most definitely gone as well.

I'll start checking on Monday to see when they go on sale. We'll probably be on the Bulls side. I love the passion their fans have. Central probably has that too, but every time we've seen NW play, we've sat on their side.

I'll probably be wearing a white Finz hat and an old man button up Columbia PFG blue shirt. Too bad we can't just stand at the end zone fence and watch, like we used to do back in Virginia.
