14-0. GC scores on a 3 yard pass. 2:29 left in the half. 2 defensive penalties kept the drive alive. PK has almost 100 penalty yards in the first half

14-0 final. Both defenses played great, don’t think either offense had over 200 yards. Penalties and turnovers (5 for PK and 0 for GC) was the difference

I thought Pahokee wasted too many plays throwing deep. Those are such low percentage throws at this level, and there were what, 3-4 of them resulted in interceptions?

4 interceptions. The posts were there, but the QB didn’t execute the throws. They should’ve been on a rope, instead the QB was putting to much air allowing the GC safeties to make the interception.

GC had 135 yards of total offense and PK had almost that in penalty yards (mostly on defense).

Yeah, he was getting way too much air under those long throws and that allowed the Glades secondary to adjust and make those plays. @MarkECannon noted that those Central DBs were fairly tall as well, and the Pahokee WRs were going to have a tough time bringing in 50/50 balls against them.

#15 is the only WR over 6’ tall and they didn’t target him down field once and he had over 120 yards and 2 touchdowns against Vero. He only had 1 target all game. He’s a first year football player, so his lack of football iq may have took him out of this game

What game were you watching?? Most of the  time he threw it deep, he was looking for #15 (Lawrence). We just didnt allow that like everyone else.

It was to #16 C. DAVIS that was the first post and the one that was intercepted in the second quarter. The first pick was off a deflection
