Props to Franklin County

By defeating Robert F Monroe  49-8 the Franklin County Seahawks have recorded the first winning season in school history.  Congratulations to Coach Tony Yeomans and crew for a great season.  I am very happy for the players and community to be able to enjoy this success.

That is a great accomplishment. Hopefully, they can build on it in the future.

Didn't they open in 2005 after Apalachicola and Carrabelle closed down? 

Maybe they can play a postseason game.

If they can hang on to Yeomans,  that is such a hard place to win I'm sure he will get some offers from other schools after his success there.  That school administration is a real mess and tends to run off good people.

Yes they consolidated and have struggled with the process.  I don't think they will have enough points for the playoffs but a bowl would be awesome.
