Glad they aren’t playing any out of state teams this year. Love the Plant game. That is a throwback to the old Western Conference

Much better schedule this year, last year's was terrible for the talent base Manatee had coming into the season.

Looks like TC is trying to get their program back on the tracks with a much softer schedule than past years.

Yes, seems to be more in line with their schedules of old. Much more manageable, all local schools and allows for them to be competitive in at least half of the games.

They will still struggle against Vero, FP Central, John Carroll and probably Jensen Beach, but maybe the embarrassing losses are gone for them.
I really like Coach Jones and the culture he built there, and it was a shame to see them fall apart like they did.

His offensive scheme - while successful for a time, just doesn’t fall in line with today’s athletes goals. He (like Apopka before him) tried to throw in some spread offense, but most of his athletes had already fled (I would guess back to Central, Vero, and elsewhere.) Hopefully this schedule will allow him to reset the program on an upward trend.

I thought TC had this unstoppable offense that was impossible to stop. I forgot what type of offense it was. Which was during their era they were playing nothing but big powerful schools

I  have to think that it's a mix of Watkins (and maybe Davis at Westwood, who exceeded my expectations this year) starting to keep kids in The Fort, and Legacy opening up that led to the bottom falling out for TC this year. As you pointed out, Irv's offense isn't particularly enticing to skill players. I also think it's worth noting that last year, TC, PSL, SLW, Tradition and Legacy combined to go 12-38 with SLW accounting for 5 of those 12, and Legacy winning 4 games against teams that barely had a pulse.

They used a single wing like Apopka ( having learned it from Apopka.) Difficult to stop if you haven’t seen it (AHP in 2021) as nobody uses it. But once teams have some repeated looks at it, it becomes something easy to stop- if you have the personnel to do it. Treasure Coast would out muscle most teams who knew how to stop it, but did not have the personnel to do it (Vero in 2021, 2023.)

Apopka took them apart in the state semis in 2021, having the knowledge to stop the single wing, and the athletes to do it.
In recent years TC (like Apopka before them) has opened up the offense to include the spread, as they don’t have a athletic advantage anymore due to the opening of Legacy high, and exodus of kids to the other St Lucie County programs.

Want couldn’t they list the names of the damn teams? Fire this social media clown who put this together. I thought they were playing Grayson GA

Looks like they're playing the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 2.

East River

What’s the deal with spelling Fast with a PH? They are the Falcons aren’t they? So shouldn’t they want to keep the word Fast the same? Lol. I’m willing to bet there is nothing fast about this team. Lol. Especially since they finished last year in the 8,000’s nationally. They probably resemble a junior varsity team. I wish varsity teams this bad would play more JV teams. It would help with development for all parties involved
