The Teddy Bridgewater Act passed both the Florida House and Senate unanimously, and awaits being signed by Governor DeSantis, which will happen. This is a great bill, which will help prep coaches as they help their players with some basic needs such as transportation, meals, lodging, etc. A step in the right direction by the great political leadership of the Sunshine State, and thank you to Teddy Bridgewater for caring about his players as people, not just X and O's.

You aren’t even allowed to give a kid a meal if he’s starving. A safe ride to and from school. 
 

That’s next level evil. And whoever enacted these cruel choices to begin with should be called out publicly. They should be shamed to have the nerve to pass such absurd concepts that are the exact opposite of looking out for the best interest of the student athlete. 
 

but with any agency that operates like a government entity, the laws, rules and actions are almost exclusively the opposite of beneficial and how they should be
