Dixie county at Madison county any thoughts?

Who wouldn't have thought that coming from the much bigger classes and always making deep runs? 

The issue with Madison County has been they were the 2nd best team in 1A the last 2 years to Trenton and then Pahokee. 

They are by far the top team in the class and it will be a huge upset and disappointment if they don't win it this year

Yet both times they entered playoffs at number 1 in 1a if i recall correctly 

 

So if rankings mean anything they were upset last 2 years 

 

They may be favorite but i don't feel the margin is as deep as it looks and i would be surprised if Dixie County gets blown out

 

I expect a Madison win but i seriously doubt it by 30 point margin 

 

 

Dunnellon almost beat Madison so i think Dixie County can at least keep it close

Nah Trenton was by far the best 1A team all year long. 

And Pahokee was ranked higher after beating a 8A team and New Jersey State Champion. 

Madison County almost beat Pahokee. They would have killed Baker. 

Mad Co should have no issue this year

Pahokee should be able to give them a good game but that is the only other 1A school with a realistic shot.

Dixie County is a disciplined and well coached  football team. (Just ask Pahokee)

All I heard last year was... how great Madison was, and how they were going to destroy Pahokee.

Pahokee ran the ball down their throat. The score was 21-6 at halftime. It could have been worse but Pahokee decided to throw the ball in the second half.... WTH?

This year Pahokee is much better at running the ball. So if Madison is lucky to get pass Dixie County, it should be interesting.

Exactly. Another is going to the bench Madison don't have many if any that play both ways and Dixie does qb play safety both RB.s on defense o line guys play d line will take tole against a team like Madison, just seeing Madison wearing them down.

That i can buy into

 

If they face a team that is healthy and have depth then Madison can lose but not many 1a teams have both 

 

 

My guess is Pahokee best bet but i still expect a close game here

      First I want to express my apologies for my absence the last few months. Without going into much detail I have had some personal life struggles I have been dealing with on top of figuring out the direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com in. Things have finally settled out some over the last few weeks although I am not completely out of the woods just yet. Some of the decisions about what direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com have been forming over this time while I went through things. Part of me wondered if it was time to go, but really it is not at all. Thankfully, a loyal supporter near me in Gainesville decided to put their mouth where their money is and did a little investing and today FloridaHSFootball.com launched its first-ever Mobile App. With that said it comes with the sunset of the MVP Membership Subscriptions and thus FloridaHSFootball.com will be 100% free for the first time in a while. This comes as needing to get the clearances with Apple and Google and the current subscription platform we have is not syncing with Apple's system nor with the App itself. Its best we go in this direction to grow fans again and being able to put them facing forward with an app on their phone going forward. It seems every day these things find ways to pass through control systems.       They can definitely beat Central. My bulls is a toss up but I feel we should have the edge. EJ will be hard to stop though. Glad they not in 2A with us.
