The following data relates to FL hs players rated 3, 4 or 5 stars this past season, including those who just graduated:

  • 38% of all such players played in Miami-Dade or Broward Counties.  
  • Broward County had by far the most number of players at 131.  Miami-Dade was second with 101.  All of north Florida had a little over 90.
  • Of all schools in central and north Florida, Armwood had the most such recruits and Orlando Jones had the second most. 
  • 20% of all such players were at one of 8 schools: St Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons, Chaminade-Madonna, American Heritage/Plantation, Deerfield Beach, Miami Northwestern, Miami Central or Armwood.
  • 4.5% of all such players in the state of Florida played for St Thomas Aquinas (28 players/621).
