Miami-Dade Recruiting 2003 Versus Now

In 2018, Miami-Dade County has 56 2-star or better recruits.  13 public schools have at least one such recruit.

In 2003, Miami-Dade County had 67 2-star or better recruits.  22 public schools had at least one such recruit.

A few schools have fallen off the radar.  In 2003, Edison, Killian and Monsignor Pace combined had 23 such recruits.  In 2018, those same schools have a combined total of 1 such recruit.

Hey Zoe Boy,

I just used one source for the data so there was some consistency in comparing 2003 vs 2018 data.  I wasn't willing to spend any more time than I did on the exercise.  The main purpose of the exercise was to look for any big changes/trends.  My guess is that the trends would be true regardless of what raw data I used.  Hope that makes sense.

If possible could you share the source,  I've always been curious where you find all this data because i search and can't find 10% of the data you find 

 

Like the regular season results and prospects per team

 

If i knew where to find the list of prospects per team then i could have even more data to use on rankings

Like before you posted recruits per team and i looked online trying to find that kind of data for teams but i couldn't find anything for any team,  I'm guessing I've been looking in the wrong places

I get most of my information from a source in Gainesville.  I know you would never sink to such depths as to communicate with folks from Gainesville, so you will need to do your best in the ColumbiaZone.

On behalf of all of the old dinosaurs on the board...I would like to share this moment of triumph with you. 

After years of being ridiculed by Millenials for our ineptitude with computers and out-of-touch communication styles.  And being made fun of because we thought our son's new girlfriend was named Siri.  Not to mention the shame we were subjected to for holding on to our treasured flip phones years after they were no longer cool. 

.....today a MIllenial is asking us for help finding information.  Every dog has his day, and today is ours fellow "old guys."   I am going to McDonald's to celebrate with a senior's coffee.  Too bad I cannot figure out how to connect to the WIFI, though.
