Venice vs Braden River and Champagnat Catholic

Venice will play both teams this year. How do you guys think Venice will do against them score wise? I know Champagnat Catholic won states last year and Braden River is really out to get us this year, Venice lost to Vero Beach 42-20 but Vero is a good team. Any thoughts?

Venice gets to play them at home so I think we will be alright... Champagnat is replacing IMG From last year so we’ll se how it plays out, should be a great game though

You need to focus on Charlotte.  The Tarpons are looking tough this year. Veteran coach too.

Champagnat lost a lot, based on intel I gathered from people in South Florida they lost basically all their studs from last year to local powerhouses like carol City 

 

They may contend in 2a just because of 2a not being a very good class but they won't be able to handle a solid 7a team like Venice 

 

Venice even down is still going to have no serious trouble wearing down them

 

If it isn't a running clock it will be very close to it

Charlotte will be a much tougher test for Venice then Champagnat

I don’t know if this was a home/home agreement, might be a one off (like Vero’s game at Oscar Smith last year,) but if it is, would love to see Venice at the Citrus Bowl in Vero!

Well it is actually happening next year we have a two year contract with Vero Beach. This year we played them at home next year we play them at their own field. It’s week 1 so probably no citrus bowl

Vero’s home field is called the Citrus Bowl, that’s great, always nice to see such a quality program as Venice instead of some of the cupcakes we normally see.

And if we lose in the first second or third round of the playoffs this year then it'll mark it 20 years ago that we haven't been to the fourth round of the playoffs, 1998 is the last time

In 8A, I think the favorite in the North has to be Wekiva, especially after their impressive win bs North Gwinnett this weekend up in Atlanta.

In the South the favorite has to be Atlantic to make it back to Orlando, especially after their dismantling of Dwyer this weekend. 

Good luck to Venice in making it back to Orlando in 7A, gonna be tough though, STA looks to be back this year.

Yea they did play well against y'all but I still see alot ways to beat Vero but I also ways where they can wreck a team
