6 Interesting Games This Week

These games have interesting storylines and/or histories.  

IMG(3-0) @ St John's(3-0)  IMG has beaten their opponents by a combined score of 126-14.  With wins over Hoover and Miami Central, St John's appears to have the talent to challenge IMG's dominance.   These two teams played in 2016, with IMG winning 35-14.

Dr Phillips(1-2) @ Apopka(2-1)  Apopka has won 4 of 6 meetings this decade, including the past 3.  All 3 of those games were decided by a TD or less.  

Raines(2-1) @ Fletcher(3-0) These two split a series in 2013-2014 and each game was decided by 5 points or less.  

Trinity Christian(3-0) @ Bolles(2-1) These two programs have a few state titles between them.  They met twice last year after a long hiatus.  TC won both games on the field(one game was eventually forfeited), the last one being an epic triple OT thriller in the playoffs.    

Lee(3-0) @ Columbia(3-0) Columbia controlled this series until recently.  Lee won last year 48-28 and has beaten Columbia by 20 or more points the last 3 times they have met.  

Columbus(2-1) @ Booker T Washington(2-1) Columbus won a 21-19 thriller last season and has won 2 of 3 games against BTW this decade.

Dillard at Ba....lol hahahahaha redemption from this week lol it’s a district game rival ...lol

 

all jokes aside I see Dillard running the table to finish 8-2 our biggest giants was week 1-3 and we finished 1-2 not bad since most people predicted we would be 0-3 like last year.

IMG/St. Johns

Anyone that saw the St, Johns/Miami Central game, what do you think about this match-up? Game will be a 1 PM on Saturday in DC. In the north most of the HS games are played on a Saturday afternoon. Will this be strange for a team that plays most of it's games at night? Or, won't it make a difference. Wonder if it made a difference for St. John's playing at night against MC. Wonder if it's going to be streamed?

I doubt it will make a difference. Given how many miles IMG travels, I doubt the time of day matters much. Not sure it affected Miami that much. St. Johns talent might.

It looks like the St.Johns - Miami Central games was played in lots of rain, the Hurricane may also dump rain this weekend on the area? Rain could make a difference. Current weather forecast calls for it.

The St Johns Athletic program page states the game is indeed off and that both teams are working to reschedule the game later in the season.

Raines will beat Fletcher in a close one, Columbia will beat Lee handily, and Trinity Christian will beat Bolles by 2-3 scores but the real question is will they go back to back to back years using illegal players? Haha

I will not be at any of the games as the ball and chain is requiring I go to Disney with the kids this weekend.
