FL HS QB's Versus Other States

Florida seems to be lacking this year in terms of QB's who could possibly make it as starters at the next level.  Only one of the top 50 ranked senior qb's in the US is from FL.  The data below suggests that Florida may be lagging in terms of qb "production."  In 2007, there were 7 qb's amongst the top 100 FL seniors and in 2006 there were 6.  Further below I have listed senior qb's from Florida who are on the recruiting radar.  Considering the crazy number of FL receivers being pursued by Power 5  universities, the number of highly recruited FL hs qb's seems very low.

If anyone has seen any of the qb's listed above play, feedback on their performance?  Any emerging qb's not on the list?

I mentioned in another post that the young man from South Dade has put up some impressive numbers.

I updated the list in the original post.  Interesting that both Casteel and Dean are going to Harvard.  Florida may not produce many college qb's, but apparently we produce smart ones!  Also interesting that the colleges tended to favor the pro-style qb's.

And whichever one doesn't win the starting job by his junior year will transfer to Princeton.

There's 2 upcoming juniors who had great numbers as sophomores this season. Cocoa's DJ Arroyo and Viera's Bryce Norton.
