6A Region 1 Playoff Picture

Crestview beat a 7-1 Niceville team 63-33...wow.  Crestview is averaging 53 points per game this season.  They are 7-2, but could easily be 9-0.  They lost by 2 points to West Florida on a last minute TD, and lost an OT game to Navarre.   Before this weekend, Niceville was the #1seed in 6AR1 and Crestview had been tied for the #6 slot.  Based on the regular season results, the Region 1 playoffs should be very competitive. 

Pine Forest beat Escambia 29-14

Escambia beat Navarre 37-27

Navarre beat Pine Forest 26-25

Navarre beat Crestview 41-35 OT

It should be very competitive but all roads leads to whoever makes it out of Miami. I'm not sure if any of these teams can hang with Armwood and Vanguard.

Armwood narrowly escaped with a 10-6 win over 4-4 Hillsborough.  Chamberlain and Jefferson played them tough.  Armwood does not appear to be dominating as much in prior years.  Maybe there is an opportunity for an R1 team this year.
