Inside the Numbers: Regional Quarterfinals Edition

I decided to do some digging on some of these tidbits of numbers and I found some really interesting numbers along the way. 

- 4 teams with their first playoff win in school history

- St. Thomas Aquinas besting their own school record for most points scored in a playoff game

- Number of games decided by 21 points or less increased in the first-round compared to last year

- Number of complete shutouts in the first round decreased compared to last year

- And a whole lot more!

This has to be the first time Cocoa hasn't played in the first week of the playoffs in almost 2 decades.

But that would be a good thing, not a bad thing on this time around.
