Armwood @ Vanguard - 6A Third Round

Armwood 11-1. Vanguard 13-0. Armwood's only loss was to Tampa Bay Tech. I have seen Vanguard play, up front and personal, but have only seen Armwood on video.

Any idea how this game plays out? Pros and Cons. Strength and Weaknesses.

Vanguard should win this one,  vanguard took a much stronger Armwood team to the limit last year and Vanguard at home should be a huge edge in their favor,  vanguard has had close losses last 2 seasons to the eventual 6a north Champions but it looks like Vanguard should finally make that Orlando trip this year

Wood is fast and swarming. If they come ready to play at full attention I think Wood wins by 10 ish. But Vanguard is a fine team so it should be a good game regardless.

I will be there.  I think Armwood wins this one.  been there done that.  they expect to win

Does Vanguard play at it's school, or at a City Stadium?  Also, have there been any problems with the clock or scorebaord at Vanguard's home field that anyone knows about? Thank you.

I always thought Booster Stadium was vanguard own stadium but apparently it's a municipal Stadium but they only high school team in Marion county using it

Both Forest HS and Vanguard HS were built before stadiums were routinely built on the school's property. Both of these schools shared Booster Stadium similar to what Gainesville and Buchholz do with Citizen Field. A brand new Forest HS was built about 5 years ago and, of course, has their own stadium. And now Booster Stadium is used only by Vanguard. I don't know if it's a public stadium or privately owned by "Boosters". It's a very old stadium where the stands are huge and can seat maybe 3 to 4 thousand people. Possibly more.

This obviously won't help the Knights win tonight. But, it's something that can pass the time until 7:30 PM.
