A hiatus in a situation like this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Its sort of like how Venice is not playing Braden River anymore, we’ve won I think 10 of the 12 times the two teams have met up and 6 over the past 3 years.

I’m not surprise Suwannee  didn’t take that game, they’re just tired of getting their asses kicked

No matter how lopsided or bad either team get I can only imagine them trying to stop soul bowl (Dillard vs ely) that would b a ugly sight.

The difference between soul bowl and Columbia vs Suwannee though is even in bad years those 2 in the soul bowl still treat it as a rivalry game

 

Columbia vs Suwannee hasn't felt like a rivalry in a long while

A rivalry is made from constant competitiveness, games with something on the line. Unfortunately, Suwannee has been a little above average over the past 10 years and CHS even in down years is still better.

Still would play the game as the game is a huge moneymaker for both sides and the cheapest out of county game for both teams.

Apparently rumors on the street are that it was Suwannee decision to not play 

 

Can't exactly confirm that but that's what I'm hearing
