Could someone give a scouting report on Trinity Christian?

We will be playing them in game two of the 2019 season! This will be only our fourth Florida opponent since the leather helmet days!

This TCA team will likely be a top 5 team in FL by time August rolls around

 

Don't let their 3a classification fool you, they would hold their own with most elite teams in FL because of them being well coached and very talented

Just kidding. Trinity will be a hand full for any team next season. This should be a good match up.

Expect legit D1 guys all over the field. One CB (5 star) committed to Clemson with another (4 star) committed to GT. They will be huge on the line on both sides of ball. The offense is pretty basic with the premise being get the ball to an athlete.

And defensively they play almost exclusively cover 3

How WELL I know! Of the other Florida teams we've played, I believed that all were under the enrollment size of our current 7A! But they weren't your run of the mill Florida teams EITHER!

Then, if they are HUGE, they MAY get tired of running from sideline to sideline! Do you suppose they are any more talented than 2018 Grayson, who had two major DI backups? The two most talented teams in our state,(Grayson and Marietta)didn't make it to the QUARTERfinals!

They probably better coached than Grayson since everyone from Grayson I've spoken to has stated that coaching is what has held them back last few years

They’ve got very little depth. 35-40 varsity players. But I would say they’ve got 10-12 of those guys that’ll be D1. 

If your new coach is worth anything, you guys should win. I don’t think Trinity is exceptionally well coached.

SOOOOOO, I wonder why our resident guru, Colombia County fan, is laughing at the Colquitt-Trinity matchup? Is he perhaps, naive enough to play into the, it don't matter the size of the school bull? Unlike Florida, where transfers are an everyday occurrence in order to compete! Size DOES matter in Georgia!

WELL, if our new coach is anything like the PREVIOUS ONE! We'll be rotating sixty players in the FIRST QUARTER! And from what I hear, he likes to play offense, like his hair is on fire!
