Where Is the Talent in S FL in 2019?

Below is the number of 3-star and up players at each school.  Of 120, 3-star and up players in south FL, 51(43%) can be found at one of 5 schools...St Thomas, Deerfield, Chaminade, Miami Central and Northwestern.  Note the concentration of talent in Broward County...over 2/3 of top-tier talent can be found at just 3 schools.  Any wonder why public schools in Broward have so relative few state titles?

All classes.  Of course, the data was compiled back in the spring, so more kids may be rated 3-star as of today.

Also, depends on who ranks these kids. Pahokee has multiple kids that should be at least 3 star recruits, but they aren’t. GC has 3 WRs that (9, 3, and 1) but I don’t know if they are.
