Who Is This Famous FL Offensive Lineman? Vernon Carey

Played on the same Miami Northwestern 1998 state championship team as WR Antonio Bryant.   He earned Parade and USA Today first-team All-American honors as a high school senior. He also earned first team Class 6A All-state honors. 

Was a 4-year letterman at the University of Miami.  As a senior, he was named as a third-team All-America choice by the Association Press and College Football News. He also earned second-team All-Big East Conference honors from the media. Carey led the Hurricanes in key blocks (knockdowns/pancakes) as both a junior and senior.

First round draft pick of the Dolphins, where he spent his NFL career.
