BOLOGNA belen was below avg last year not even a post 500 record & as for colombus they have been nothing spectacular its been more terrible belen then wow colombus

Columbus has been one of the more consistent playoff teams of the decade.  That's because they have a coach who knows how to peak his team.  Barring injuries, am pretty sure you will see a different Columbus team in game 9 of the season than you did tonight.  Based on what I have seen in recent years, Columbus gets better as the season goes on.

And i agree even tho in the post season they crumble but all this belen hype need to stop they didnt even make the playoffs last year

I take that back belen did go 8-3 last year losing 45-7 in the 1st round

Columbus has won 21 playoff games in the last 8 years.  There are a lot of coaches out there who wish they could crumble like that LOL

I saw two talented and decently coached teams, Columbus having more talent and slightly better coaching. 

Columbus on year in year out basis has enough talent to win state every year. They will have to find another option besides Parrish if they want to win...though 8A looks down again this year.

They obviously wanted to showcase Parrish who is a Purdue commit and not being recruited heavily.   Henderson is being recruited by everyone and is looking like Clemson is leading.   

Columbus has other options, but did they need them?  Nope.

I believe it. Now belen on the other hand they looked extremley Slow and obviously have a problem with speed. They were dropping like flies last night and i tbh i dont see them making the playoffs i also see them losing to southridge norland and central

Belen Jesuit has a couple of great athletes with good coaching. Here's my husband's theory..  Belen had good off-season hype due to returning talent which was magnified by beating CCC and tying Gibbons in the Spring. 

After digging into that specific evening, neither Gibbons or CCC prepared for Jesuit since they were added to the jamboree a day before the jamboree.

Once the pre-season rolled around Jesuit was exposed by University School and then destroyed by Columbus which is bringing expectations back down to reality.   They're a good team that if they have a great night can pull an upset provided the other team doesn't have the chance to prepare for them.
