Armwood stopped being a wannabe a long, long time ago. 3 state titles and 7 runner-up finishes (10 total trips is really good given how young they are as a program!) While a "newer" high school (1984), they are a perennial powerhouse. They did get toasted in the KOC this year 28-0 by Jacksonville Lee. But I wouldn't discount the Hawks.

They're legit.  You can read my post in the other thread for a more detailed breakdown, but they're fast and athletic and they've got some size up front (especially on the defensive side of the field).

Indifferent on this topic as well. They're really good defensively, but hear their offense can be explosive, but lacks ability to drive the field CONSISTENTLY. I know nothing about North Gwinnett other than they were in a defensive battle with Colquitt this past weekend, but eventually lost. I would imagine they are a pretty sound team. 7A in GA is tough and they won the state title in '17 and lost in Quarters last year.

Armwood is almost certainly an elite, top 5ish team in the state this year. North Gwinnett appears to be pretty good, and will have a huge home field advantage. But, I think Florida needs Armwood to go up there and take care of business. Outside of Lakeland and STA, I don't see anyone else beating them.

Armwood scored ten offensive points in regulation tonight against North Gwinnett, losing 26-23 in 2OT!!
