At Miami High, Andre Johnson  teamed up with future Cane Roscoe Parrish, who played qb on that Miami High team.  Johnson was an All-State selection and Parade All-American as a senior with 31 catches for 908 yards and 15 TDs.  Johnson was one of the most highly recruited players in the country.  Was timed at 4.4 in the 40 and had a 35-inch vertical leap.  Went on to play college ball at the University of Miami.

In Miami's 2001 Rose Bowl victory over Nebraska, which earned them a national title, he earned Co-MVP honors with quarterback Ken Dorsey. In that game, he caught seven passes for 199 yards, including two touchdown receptions.  In 2002, he became only the second player in Miami history to gain 1,000 or more yards receiving in a season...caught 52 passes for 1,092 yards (21.0 ypc) and nine touchdowns...led the nation in yards per catch at 21.0.  Johnson was also a Big East track sprinting champion.

The 6'3" Johnson was the #3 overall pick by the Houston Texans in the 2003 NFL draft.  He played with them most of his career.  During his NFL career of 193 games, he had 1062 receptions, 14,185 receiving yards, and 70 TD receptions.  He is currently #11 on the NFL's list for most career receiving yards.  Only one NFL player in history who played less than 200 games has more career receiving yards.  Johnson was a 7-time Pro Bowler and 5-time All Pro.  He led the NFL in receiving yards for two seasons.  Johnson set numerous NFL receiving records during his career.

    • It would weed out the bad teams that are not championship material. The cream would rise to the top. So once the the teams ranked in the 400’s and 500’s were gone after the first round like they should be, it would start to get to the point only good teams are left. The last couple rounds would be the best of the best. One true state champion.    Watering down the classes and letting teams who normally would have no business winning a title advance further than they should is like letting a toddler hold a fake steering wheel and pretend he’s driving. It’s not real. And it doesn’t prepare the kids for real life. It makes them think they are better than they really are.
    • Buy Azithromycin Online is a handy antibiotic you can buy online to treat specific bacterial infections. It’s great for things like respiratory infections (think coughs and sore throats), skin infections, ear infections, and even some sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia. One cool thing about it is that you usually only need to take it for a short time, usually around five days. Just remember, it’s super important to take the full course even if you start feeling better before it’s done. This helps make sure the infection is completely gone and doesn’t come back stronger. Like with any medication, there can be side effects, like upset stomach or diarrhea, so it’s always good to talk to your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you have any health conditions or are taking other meds. Overall, Azithromycin can be an effective and convenient option for treating bacterial infections when used correctly.
    • Okay, how about that STA vs. Ida Baker matchup in your first round?  Does your analogy extend to South Florida slappies?  My opinion is simply that no one (except CoachGraham, apparently) would be interested in the 1 vs. 512, 2 vs. 511, and 200 other mismatches such a format would produce, regardless of geography.  But I could be wrong.  And now I'm thinking I should have skipped college.
