Struggle, No. Made interesting, Yes.

PK's, wrs dropped 3 wide open touchdowns with at least 3 steps on the defender and the QB over threw 2 more wide open players. That's 5 TDs from 5 different possessions that they didn't get, which made the game interesting. 

At no point was Chiefland the better team. PK forced 6 turnovers, but didn't finish some drives. So, yes the game was interesting

PK was up 28-13 at the half. Forced a 3 and out on the opening possession for Chiefland. The returner fumbled the punt on the return, giving the ball right back to Chiefland. Then their QB broke off their only offensive to of the second half, a 51 yard run on the option (something PK hadn't seen all season). 

Turnovers, drops, and missed throws by PK made this game interesting. And to Chiefland's credit, they kept fighting and didn't give up. That's why I gave credit to the QB.

That's been the issue all season for PK. Offense with turnovers and 3 and outs. The defense has forced 13 turnovers (Hawthorne and Chiefland) the last 2 games, but they haven't blown either team out. The offense either stalls out or turns the ball back over. 

That's why I said PK didn't struggle, just made the game interesting when it should've been a blowout

First of all, Madison should be competeing in 3A, where they used to be.

If you're looking for the old Pahokee team that will drop 45 points by halftime...this is not that team. But, they are extremely athletic, defensively sound, and will easily play to the level of thier competition.

I expect Madison to win.. but don't expect a "cakewalk".

Just ask the University School, Chaminade, Dillard, and Deerfield Beach.

Pahokee would have about 15 championships if we had been playing in 1A in the 90s. 

But we don't DUCK competition...Line it up!
