Down to its last gasp and trailing in the game, this team faced a fourth down on its own 10 yard line with less than 2 minutes left in the game.  That's when their qb completed a fantastic 90-yard pass play to pull ahead.  They held on to win the state title.

I was wrong.  That one was 4th down also but not 90 yards

That one was about 60 yards, and there was less than a minute to go in the game. It was the coldest state final I ever attended about 35 degrees mid game. I was on the Norland side, as I had two relatives that attended the school, but was supporting Edgewater. I took a lot of flack after the game.

Correct!  Monsignor Pace beat defending champion Bolles with that great play in the 2003 3A state title game.
