These are comical.  I see Nease as honorable mention in girls at 11-10 so I’m thinking maybe they played a tough schedule.  I look up there maxpreps rankings and it is like 150.  My first thought is I bet they played Columbia.  Yup I was correct.  The Columbia opponent 50-75 point bump.  I’m shocked you don’t have Columbia boys higher even though you have them 25 spots ahead of maxpreps.

Well there's your first mistake as i wouldn't care where maxpreps ranks a team 

 

In fact the only value I found in maxpreps was for checking schedule and record of the teams, the honorable mentions work much different for basketball than for football, most of the honorable mentions are ones who were ranked in preseason and haven't been dropped or are used to identify teams in the area since I use these rankings as a base for a area composite poll that I'm a voter in

Do you still think I had Columbia too high after they beat 20th ranked in the state Lincoln (maxpreps) to win a district Championship while down 2 starters with injury?

Nobody knows Columbia better than me, if I put them somewhere or give insight on them there's always a reason behind it
