If Vero play South Florida teams like they played Chaminade last year, Vero would beat all of them

Trust me, I am not slighting Lakewood, I used to coach there, the program is legit.  The problem is having to play at that level 8 weeks during a season.  Its HARD.

CM not a representation of SFL football? Credibility—> the window. CM certainly beating VB this year. Game was closer than the result. A blueprint? Off of a 1 game wonder, ight... Especially with the defense they added to this offseason. Compare schedules....... CM plays up. VB plays down. And it shows every year when VB gets thumped outta the 2nd round in the playoffs every year like always.... The claim to fame is a regular season winning streak that’s against mainly .500 to sub .500 opponents. So again it certainly showed when they were left in the dust against Deerfield Beach last year 35-7. That winning streak wasn’t looking so prominent that night. Vero won’t take a “big time” game unless it’s a home game for them. Add in Northwestern, BTW or MC :^)  Tracking back as far as Maxpreps shows, VB has no state titles to show for anything, let alone appearances. VB should start keeping track of that 2nd round exit streak they have going on

How exactly did you come to this conclusion after watching them versus Deerfield?

Because they beat Chaminade well they did beat Dwyer back in the day too, o yea and you can add Pahokee to the list

Vero's defense played like that against Chaminade because Chaminade's offense last year was one dimensional. 

Every one of those teams you mentioned would probably put a running clock on Vero other than maybe Gibbons.
