Who Is This FL HS Legend? Isaac Bruce/Dillard

1.That looks like Isaac Bruce from Ft. Lauderdale Dillard.   

2. I am assuming that he played WR, he was teammates with Frank Sanders.

3. He scored against Merritt Island in the 1989 state title game.

4. He played College Football at Memphis.

5. He won a Super Bowl title with the St Louis Rams.

Bonus. He was recently selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

It's too bad there are no Dillard fans on here.  A guy who claims to be one was on the board this afternoon, but I think he actually went to Ely, because if he was a real Panther he would have gotten this one.

Thank you friend. I wish that there were more High School Football coaches like you in the state of Florida. If there were, the sport would be in a better place.

Jambun nailed it.  Bruce played on a great 13-1 Dillard squad that won the 1989 4A title over Merritt Island in Daytona Beach.  Otis Mounds was on that team, amongst others.

I'm glad he is a PE teacher and not an English teacher.  your or you're?  lately or lateley?  Nice comma, I see your (mt) at least trying lateley (mt).  

 

You have to throw a flag on him Jambun.  At least he didn't curse, so he won't be punished by the state unless the official lies and writes it up wrong.  That would never happen, would it?

Badbird, if there were more High School Football Coaches like you in the state, the sport would be better off for sure. Both you, and Just A Coach seem like the type of leader that I would want my son to play for. (if I had a son, which I don't.)

Ighh if you must know I’ve been dealing with not only the shocking death of our leader & our football coach but that was also a close friend of mine. 
 

You right I was on yesterday but that was only to read & respond to one of the writers on here giving their condolences, so if my panther Card was “revoked” for missing this thread then “Aye”
