Aquinas wins 30th District Title

Another year, another district title for the Raiders. They took down Plantation by a score of 51-0 Friday Night to clinch the district. The Raiders did not give up a single point in district outscoring their opponents 221-0 and 318-7 over their last six games overall. 

The Raiders will take on Mater Academy in Round 1 who I think is only a 2yr old school. Should be interesting.

Zoe, yes we do need a different district I agree. This one is far too weak. Mater I said was a 2yr old school not a 2yr school. If they are not then their football program is 2yrs old.

I meant their football program is not two years old.. I'll say 5-6 yrs..... They are a sister school to somerset academy where I use to coach at and my old head coach when I was in highschool was coaching them in the beginning of the football program now one of his former player is the head man

Should be interesting in the since that we will see how close a Florida team can get to scoring 100?  LOL

Mater Academy is an older program..they have been around a while. Just now they finally have a decent football coach with a decent team for the first time.

Ahhh ok. Was told by a guy down at STA they were only a 2yr old program. Did not know they were a sister school to Somerset Academy. Interesting. I don't think STA will score 100 but it wont be close. STA will cruise to the 4th round I think.
