Cat Scratch I was pulling for Cocoa as I have family (by marriage) from there! I like Wilkinson a lot as well. I thought the game wasn't gonna be as close as it was to be honest. After I kept seeing the scores through out the night I got excited. Not gonna lie. BTW was supposed to be this powerhouse that was gonna roll all of 4A. Just too bad it ended for the Tigers at the hands of those guys again. Y'all will be back!

Cocoa returns almost 90% of their team. It's going to be another big rival game next year and throw Clewiston into the mix. They're for real and have the whole town behind them.

Brevard is South Florida? Lol. Just messing around. Yeah, I heard Clewiston was ready to go. I guess they feel like you guys have losing to BTW. Again? Dagnabbit! Seriously man, I am always pulling for Cocoa. Between family and their coaching staff, I always gotta go for your boys! I love that D!

Much closer than I thought it'd be. I think that is a testament to how good Cocoa is more than anything else. If they are returning 90% of their starters from this season then it wouldn't shock me to see them maybe MAKE a title game next season.

Great season for Cocoa they took one of the toughest teams in the country down to the wire. 0-0 at half. How many teams have done that to Booker T in the last 7-10 years?

Wonder if they will reclass Cocoa to the north side of 4A next year. Wouldn't that be crazy.

I was following this game really closely and things went pretty much like I thought they would. I would have loved to see the Clewiston vs Booker T matchup and think we would have been able to put up a few more points on them. But of course I am a homer  

 

Was that final drive for Cocoa where they scored primarily the wing t run game or did they spread things out from the shotgun? It seemed to me that Cocoa struggled against good defenses when running anything but their old bread and butter misdirection power run game from the wing. When they going got tough, they would fall back on this. To me, I think that that was their weakness a bit this year. 

 

I am super interested to see the new alignments. Nothing but rumors out there but will be interesting to see if they stick with the same classifications or not and if they do how they will line up the districts. I can't imagine that they will leave Clewiston in the same district as we are in now. More than likely they will throw us back to the east coast and put us in with Glades Central. Anyone have nay idea what direction the FHSAA is going in with the number of classes? 

 

Lastly, I actually think that Bolles has a shot this year in the final. I think they play mistake free football and won't give Booker T anything for free. I'm going to say BTW by 7.

Approx. when do the new alignments get released? 

I think BTW got their wake up call last week.  They were on a bit of cruise control mode last week and likely underestimated Cocoa.  They  won't let a 0 point 1st half happen again.  I think the Tornados come out strong from the get go and lay down the hammer in the 2nd half vs. Bolles. I say BTW by at least 14 !
